How I got started
  My company, Jenerations, sells unique, handmade jewelry from materials such as sterling     silver, 14k gold, and semi-precious stones.  I started making necklaces as a hobby - it was fun   and allowed me to use my creativity.  I would give them to friends as gifts - people would   constantly stop them to ask where they got the necklaces - and before I knew it I had several   orders - my company just  took off from there.  Today, Jenerations sells through boutiques   around the country and we also do a lot of specialty work for brides and bridal parties.

 Advice
  I have learned that talent is only part of business.  You can be the best jewelry maker in the world   but if you don't have business smarts you will never get anywhere.
